Harry Potter and Sense and Sensibility
And yes, more Harry Potter OotP!! I've been experimenting with these and using different textures and effects, and I think they came out pretty well! Much better than the last ones that's for sure LoL! I've also made some using some of Emma Watson's latest pictures, which are absolutely amazing. I got them from Emma Watson.net in case you haven't seen them.
And the second batch features one of my favourite movies, Sense and Sensibility!! I can't believe I haven't made icons of that movie before, but the other day I was watching if for the millionth time and I suddenly realized I had no icons of it, so here they are. These are extremely minimal though, not at all like the HP ones. Enjoy!

Those SO do not look like his parents. That's the first time I've seen the picture, ick! Although the icons are lovely :) I especially love the face shots and cropping on this batch. Alot are nice and mysterious.
I take it you didn't love the Emma Tatler shoot?
And I still haven't seen more than bits of S&S, I want to but Kate's hair on the cover always frightens me away.

I know, they do look really, really weird; I'm hoping it's just the angles, at least on Lilly because that girl in that picture looks like a dude on a wig! I think (I HOPE!) they will make sense when we see the movie. Also, James is almost blonde, what's with that?

The Emma Tatler shoot was... okay I guess. I mean she looked nice and all, but were's the color? And the focus play? And the light? It's just too plain.

Aww you have to see S&S! Don't let the cover Kate scare you away, she does look extremely... fake, like a plastic doll or something, but she does look gorgeous in the movie, and then there's Emma Thompson, and Imelda Staunton, and Hugh Laurie, and Hugh Grant, and Alan Rickman... Even if it's just for them you have GOT to see it ;)

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. TIMES LIKE 30957230957235.
This has to be one of your best posts yet!!! Seriously.
Those Emma icons are absolutely DIVINE. Especially #2, what exquisite cropping and colors, I'm loving it. :D And #1 is so original and #2-7, the coloring is perfect for the picture and your cropping is unique and texture use=OMFG. #7, LOVE the use of Arijna's texture. PERFECT I TELL YOU. :D I'm saving all of them! :D And I will most likely use at least half of them to finish up my last few userpic slots... ;)

As for the rest of the batch: it is quite as wonderful as the first part! I mean, seriously, can it get any better??? Apparently, YES it can. ;)
I will just make a little list of my favorites and compliments on each one:
09 - Love the cropping and crinkle-y paper texture.
11 - Once again, LOVE the crop. It's so unique and I've always loved that style crop. And the colors are awesomeness as well. Always lovin' the yellow. ;)
12, 13 - Love the texture you've used and the coloring on each is perfect. I love the softness of the icon and the bright colors really compliment the effect.
14 - Love the effect that you've used, it's really original and it makes the icon SO much more interesting. :) And coloring, as usual, is awesome. Love the blue extra space. :)
16 - Love it overall. Great texture use, design, and coloring. I really like the square. It seems that it is becoming popular, but I feel that it only looks good if it is executed well and used sparingly. And you have executed it VERY nicely and you haven't used it in every icon. :)
17 - What a gorgeous crop! And you coloring is divine. ;) Definitely one of my new userpics. :)
19 - Love the bluriness and the coloring suits the picture perfectly.
36 - I really like the coloring and the crop of this icon. It is very nicely executed.

Sense & Sensibility YAY!
I love these icons as much as the other ones. My favorites are probably #45 (looks SO HEROIC and I love the blues and texture use!!!), 46, 50 (Love the blurry mirror=that is SO COOL!), 58, 59 (Good design), 60, 62, and 68 (Kate Winslet is so sad in this movie and pretty...).

Ok, now that I have written you like a Harry Potter novel-length post, I will stop. ;)
Hope that wasn't too long and boring...

I really, really like what you did with 41. :D I also quite like 34, and the Emma icons are gorgeous ('specially 1, 2, 4, and 7!)
